2008 VBS Project: GlobalFingerprints Motorcycles

What is the need?

We need $25,000 to purchase and ship 5 motorcycles to the Democratic Republic of Congo to help support the GlobalFingerprints orphans.

What's GlobalFingerprints?

GlobalFingerprints is EFCA TouchGlobal’s child sponsorship program for orphans of HIV/AIDS and other tragic circumstances. Through GlobalFingerprints, children see their practical needs met in the name of Jesus and learn about His love and hope.

Why motorcycles?

We currently support children in 12 different regions of Congo; our Congolese staff must travel hundreds of miles to monitor and help care for these children in their homes. The staff visit the children, pray with them, pay their school tuition and medical bills, and manage nutritional projects in the communities. In order to run the program effectively, we need transportation for our Congolese partners to do this important work. By the end of 2008, GlobalFingerprints hopes to sponsor 1,500 orphans. These five motorcycles are crucial to caring for these orphans and meeting this goal. Your VBS group can help meet this essential and urgent need!

How can I share GlobalFingerprints with our VBS kids?

The video to the right will help you experience GlobalFingerprints. You can download it and use it to educate the children in VBS about these orphans.

What do we do when VBS is over?

First, let us know about your experience! Email us at globalfingerprints@efca.org and share what God has done through your VBS. We are interested! Then, please mail the check made out to "EFCA" to:
